GRID Nepal has established a Solar Agro Enterprises in Ichhyakamana-6, Chitwan (Chepang Village) on June, 2018. This program was supported by Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited. Two Solar Conduction Dryer were installed at Admara Village. GRID Nepal has also shared knowledge on Renewable Energy based technology and its processing unit to the chepang communities. In this context GRID Nepal has linked up market to their agro product (Introducing local brand to national and international market) in coordination with Rasanpani Private Limited.
GRID Nepal in collaboration with implementing partner Natural Nutritious Agro Products (NANU), is implementing a project entitled “Hot water pasteurization of substrate for oyster mushroom farming” from June 2018. The main objective of the project is to develop an alternative device and method of pasteurization of paddy straw (Substrate) for oyster mushroom cultivation, (Solar water heater-based pasteurization system).
GRID Nepal in collaboration with DAP, Australian Embassy and Gulmi Darbar Rural Municipality is implementing the project entitled "The Application of Solar Water Pumping for sustainable development of Agriculture at Charkhutte, Balithum, Gulmidarbar Rural Municipality, Gulmi District, Nepal" . The project started on November 2018 and will end on December 2019. The main objective of the project is to increase agriculture productivity using Solar PV energy through irrigation and enhance the livelihood of the locals.

Installation of the Solar Water Pumping (Electromechanical Part) has been successfully accomplished at Charkhutte, Balithum, Gulmidarbar Rural Municipality, Gulmi District.
Successfully completed information dessemination session practically on field at Biratnagar on , " Hot Water Pasteurization of Oyster Mushroom Farming in Biratnagar-5 Morang District."
Developing training manual for Solar PV Pumping system was provided by team leader Jagannath shrestha.

GRID Nepal is governed by the Executive Board, which is elected every two years by the General Assembly. An Executive Board is responsible for planning, executing and monitoring all activities of the Organization. This team comprises of people from different walks of life who have all come together with their varied experiences to designs policy and sets out broad goals. The team is a blend of experienced veterans and enthusiastic fresher’s; all put in sync with the Organization's core values which also drive individual thought and action. It includes people from diverse backgrounds including Social Workers, Engineers, Architectures, Corporate Professionals, Consultants and Researchers. GRID Nepal endeavors to create an ambience where people have the freedom to deliver quality and take pride in their work. All the members are also given the opportunity to connect with each other regularly. Events and activities are designed and organized to make each one feel, as much a part of the GRID Nepal’s family.
